When I was chosen to be a Gap Brand Enthusiast I was more than excited. One of the perks of being selected was getting to host my very own party with my closest gal pals to try Gap’s latest line of jeans, Born to Fit.
Confession: I was a little stressed out about being a good hostess and having enough space for everyone. I had my new couch delivered in just enough time and about 10 or so of my gal pals showed up for the festivities. I prepared a caesar salad and stuffed shells for the occasion, and my guests were kind enough to bring desserts and wine for everyone to share.
The evening went off fabulously with great food, drink, conversation and a blast trying on the jeans. Everyone seemed to enjoy trying on the three different styles, modeling and asking opinions. Even my cat hung out with us, not wanting to miss out on the fun.

My favorite pair of jeans are a pair I have right now from Old Navy. After I had my son I was able to lose the weight and then some and I am in the lowest size I have ever worn in my adult life. I loved buying that pair of jeans and I wear them proudly. I would love to win a pair from Gap. Awesome. Thanks for the opportunity.

Chances are that this is a girl giveaway, but I thought I share anyways. =)
Favorite pair of jeans is actually a Gap pair that’s faded & goes well w/ any green shirt. I got clipped by a car while biking by Millennium Park and fell. I just bought the pair a few days ago and managed to cut it open slightly around halfway down the leg. It automatically looks like a fashion jean now cuz of the “cut” but in reality, that cut is real and not for show. But I’ll take it. =)

I have two pairs of The Worst Jeans I’ve Ever Owned. For most of my life, I’ve been in love with a certain style of Levi’s. For years, I didn’t even have to try them on. If I got a hole or if a pair started wearing too thin and raggedy, I’d just run into the store, find my style and size and purchase.
I don’t know what happened but I think Levi’s changed it up for a few months without notifying me. I intended to replace a couple pairs back in college so I did the usual – find my style and size and then purchase without trying them on. Easy peasy, right? Ha. I bought two pairs. I put one pair on the next day and I looked like I was on a talk show after having lost 30 lbs! They were definitely the size I normally wore, but for some reason the crotch was almost to my knees and the waist band was about 7 inches too big.
Sigh. They still live in my drawer in case I ever put on a little weight…

Looks like it was a great party! Sorry I missed it!
So, my favorite pair of jeans is a pair of trouser jeans I bought on clearance for $7. They fit great, are super soft, AND I can wear them to work!

My favorite pair of jeans were a pair of Silver brand flares that I got in high school. AMAZING! They were soft, but structured, never got to tight after washing or too baggy after a couple times of wearing them. I wore them so much that they developed a tear in the crotch seam. I fixed it with a patch, but that only helped for a little bit. I’ve never been able to find a repeat pair!

My favorite pair of jeans are a pair of “Rich & Skinny” jeans my mother bought me for my birthday. I got to go to a “jeans boutique” downtown to pick them out, and they’re the first pair I’ve ever owned that fit me perfectly. It’s not just about the length (others are always too long); it’s about the saggy butt, or the droopy crotch, or the love handles bulging over the waistband. I love these jeans!! They’re skinny, which I thought I’d never own or look good in. And they’re SO SOFT!

Hmmm my favorite jeans right now are my salt works skinny jeans. I love, love, love them!

Any stone-washed jean that is tight-rolled around the ankles was my favorite in 6th grade and, incidentally, is my least favorite now.

My favorite jeans were a pair of Lucky jeans that I wore out completely. I was getting ready to go out one morning, and I bent over and they just ripped. It was a sad, sad day, but I am so glad it happened at home!

My favorite pair of jeans actually are a skinny jean from Express. Believe it or not, they are extremely comfortable, and I’m wearing them now. They’re starting to get a bit faded on the butt (apparently, I sit too much on it), but I sill love them!

My favorite pair of jeans are a pair of wide leg dark jeans that I got at the Banana Republic outlet and I love them because no matter how fat or bloated I’m feeling, I always look good in them!
M second favorite pair of jeans are my skinny jeans that I got from your party (although they’re a little less forgiving during my “fat days!”)

My favorite pair of jeans were the skinniest skinny jeans ever imaginable. I think I found them at a forever 21 when I was living in Pittsburgh, and I wore those things down to the point that there were so many holes in them, I had to wear black leggings underneath so you couldn’t see my butt. They seriously looked painted on, but they were so stretchy that you couldn’t tell!

my favorite pair of jeans are a pair i got in highschool at a thrift store. they fit better than any jeans I’ve ever owned and aren’t horribly long like every pair I ever buy. they were kind of light when I bought them and years or washing and wearing have turned them a really unattractive shade. I want to try to dye them
but I’m scared!

My favorite pair of jeans are a pair of white skinny jeans that I got from a store called Supre in New Zealand a couple of years ago(similar to Forever 21). They were the first pair of skinny jeans that I found that actually fit and were comfortable. I still love them as much as I did when I first got them!

My favorite pair of jeans are just regular navy blue fitting cut by Gap. I got them for 20 bucks at an outlet in Limerick, PA. I wish I had a pair just like them! The worst pair of jeans I’ve ever gotten were from PacSun when I was 14. (I am now 22, and still wearing high school jeans out of monetary issues.) They were about 6 bigger than they said they were, and I could fit a family of 5 in them. They also ripped about a month later from doing absolutely nothing. Why I begged my mom to buy them, I have no idea..

My favorite pair of jeans was from high school – they were regular old Levi’s, I wore and wore and wore them. They got holes in them, I still wore them, they got more holes in them, and I patched them! They were awesome! I am seeing something similar around now – boyfriend jeans, worn looking and loose! Too funny, “back in the day” we had to wear them to get them to look worn, couldn’t buy them that way!! Now I love to wear Christopher Blue jeans.

I obviously do not want to be entered, since I was lucky enough to get some jeans at the party, but I wanted to say THANK YOU for an awesome time! You were a wonderful hostess!

Mags! My fave pair of jeans ever was from gap, I think I got them when I was like 16. Bobby sold them to me! They were a bit too long so they got torn up and gross at the bottom, then I cut them into capris, knee length shorts that I lived in last summer and they were buried this spring on account of my thighs ripping them haha. I thought I could rock the short shorts look with them but unforch they were just a little too trashy even for my taste!

My favorite pair of jeans are from Express because they fit so well. They are starting to wear down though and of course they discontinued the style I loved.

I have a pair of 1969 jeans i got years ago (on sale!) at the Gap. they have seams straight down the legs vertically, on the front and the back. Not a pair I would have normally tried on, but they have become my favorite pair because of their fit and feel. unfortunately over time they’ve become far far past well loved, and are threadbare on the booty and have an inch-long hole on the hip. Not that I don’t still wear them! I’ve been looking for a pair on ebay =) maybe I’ll find a new pair to love soon, be it that cut or another.

Congratulations on becoming a Gap Brand Enthusiast, Maggie!
As for fave/worst jeans… I guess I expect clothing to last forever (I’ve had a pair of Kepper jeans for about 8 years and they only have a few frays at the bottom), but that isn’t the case.
I had to buy a pair of dark, not-too-baggy jeans for a retail job I had a few years ago. I searched around tons of shops without any luck. I finally found a pair that fit the look I needed, but they were $100 (Levis). I expected them to last forever at that price. Sadly, they lasted just under 2 years of wearing them 3-4 times a week. Gosh!
What’s the life expectancy of Gap jeans?
(I’ll tweet the link in the morning.)
